For sale is this stunning circa 1890's English Arts & Crafts / Aesthetic Movement wrought iron and copper coal box. The lid is very similar to an example designed by Christopher Dresser for Benham and Froud. The wrought iron work is also similar to other examples of Benham and Froud's work. In total to the top of the lid it is approx 57cm (22 1/2 inches) high x 41.5cm (16 3/8 inches) across. The copper has only minor denting, there are no holes. The wrought iron work is in lovely condition. .
